Holiday Party Outfit Ideas Under $100

I can’t believe Thanksgiving has already come and gone! This year is absolutely flying by which means Christmas is just around the corner. We typically wait until the day/weekend after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas and then I move FULL FORCE ahead into the holiday spirit haha! We’re talking blasting Christmas music 24/7, sipping my coffee downstairs by the glow of the Christmas tree, adding in a nightly peppermint hot chocolate, and of course celebrating with friends and family whenever we can. We have a few events on our calendar already and if you’re like me, you want something festive to wear that won’t break the bank. Whether you have…

    My Dad’s Famous Pumpkin Bread

In high school, my dad was jokingly called “Super Dad” by everyone on my soccer team. Besides being a full-time real estate attorney, he made breakfast every morning, packed our lunches, made dinner and attended every soccer game we had (My mom is also amazing and incredibly talented…but she admits she’d rather starve than cook so this post will be centered around my Dad haha!). In particular, my dad would make his infamous pumpkin bread every game for all the girls on the team and everyone went crazy over it. All of my friends at school were also obsessed, and I still have people from high school mention his pumpkin…

    Gingham Dress

I knew I had to have this sweet little gingham dress as soon as I saw it online. It’s so perfect for fall and winter and the open/tie back is SO CUTE. Not a fan of having your back exposed? Throw on any color cardigan! It’s such a classic pattern that truly goes with anything. It was still pretty warm out when we shot these pictures, so I paired it with some open toe booties, but I can’t wait to wear it with a chunky black cardigan and some over the knee boots too! The best part of this dress (besides the fact that it’s adorable) is that it is…

    Yellow & White Poncho

Do any of you have kind of a wardrobe “uniform”? Those pieces you tend to gravitate to both when you are shopping and getting dressed in the morning? For me…it’s anything black. I actually won’t allow myself to buy any more black tops right now (unless of course I NEED it :)) because really…how many black tops does one gal need?? (Actually, don’t answer that. I don’t want to know). My point here is…black is my uniform. I feel confident in it and love how it pairs with almost every other color. I also have a soft spot for colorful statement earrings and classic pieces like a good denim jacket…

    Luke’s 10 Month Update

Whew – it’s been a while since I’ve posted here! This season of life has been so busy, crazy, and fun, but with working full time and trying to spend every other minute possible with Luke and Blake, the blog has 100% taken a backseat. And I needed the break – writing here is definitely a release for me, but choosing quality time with Blake or extra zzz’s has been what I needed to focus on when I did have any free time after Luke was asleep. All that to say…I’m back with an update post on Luke! I feel like SO much has happened in the past two months…
