Feminine Floral Maxi Dress
Ok you guys…between baby showers, weddings, bridal showers, graduations, and all of the other events that happen in late spring/early summer, you need a dress that makes you feel good and can work for multiple events. I went through a big wave of weddings and wedding showers within the past few years, and just in May and June I’ll have two graduations, a birthday party, and two baby showers to attend! I’m always on the hunt for affordable dresses that are breezy and will keep me cool – outdoor events in the Georgia humidity are no joke! Enter this beautiful floral cold shoulder number!
The material is light and the bottom is slightly open, so it moves when you walk, which is perfect for the hot & humid weather we’ve been having. The straps are adjustable and the top provides enough coverage so you don’t have to worry about pulling it up all day. And the cold shoulder ruffle is so feminine and adds such a pretty detail! It actually took me awhile to get on the cold shoulder trend – this is my first item to have it and I have to say…I’m loving it!
The length on me (5’3″) is perfect for flats or a slight wedge. I kept it a little more casual here with my Tory Burch sandals, but it can easily be dressed up even more with wedges. I think it would be perfect paired with these shoes, too. It’s not technically a full maxi dress, but since I’m on the shorter side it comes a bit lower on me than on the model (story of my life 🙂 ). I’ll wear this dressall summer and into fall – I can’t wait to pair it with ajean jacketwhen it cools down a bit!
The buttons come down to about my knee and are actual functioning buttons, so this dress is great for breastfeeding mamas too. The dress is true-to-size and I would get either your regular size or one size up if you have a larger chest or else the buttons may gape open a bit.
I wore this dressrecently to a baby shower and one of my best friends who was there immediately asked where I got it and went to look it up later that day…you know it’s a good dress when that happens!
This dress is selling out quickly, so I’m linking some other floral maxi dresses that I think would be perfect for any of your upcoming events this summer and BONUS…they are all under $75!! Happy shopping!
xoxo,

That dress is so beautiful! I haven’t jumped on the cold shoulder trend yet either, but that dress is tempting!

I love a great maxi dress even though I always have to get them shortened because I am so short! This one is gorgeous.

I love love love the sleeves. The price point of this dress is pretty good too. I really like the neckline as well. I could easily where this to work with a cardigan to feel more covered up but i think the sleeves also make it ok to where to work. Super cute.
