How to Transition Your Summer Wardrobe info Fall {with the prettiest blue kimono!}
Is it just me or are we in an awkward in between season clothes-wise right now? First of all, it’s still ridiculously hot here in Georgia, but the A/C is blasting in my office…so if I dress in a way that won’t make me sweat outside, I’m freezing inside and vice versa! Also, every retailer is launching their fall and winter line already so the first thing you see online and in stores are sweaters and boots. It makes me excited for cooler weather, but the reality is that the temperature isn’t going to cool down around here anytime soon. One way to help transition your warmer weather clothes during…

Favorite White Top for Date Night + More White Tops You Need for Spring!
Is there anything better than a crisp white top or dress for Spring and Summer?? I love how fresh it looks and the possibilities for styling are virtually endless…my usual go to is a turquoise necklace or bracelet but recently I’ve been drawn towards the pretty blush color I’ve been seeing everywhere. I wanted to add a new white top to my closet this year, and when I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. The detail is so beautiful and I love the easy, flowy shape. Top: Chicwish // Jeans: Abercrombie & Fitch // Wedges: Seychelles, similar here and here // Clutch: Old, but also love…

Weekend Update – April 16th
Happy Monday, friends! We had such a nice weekend and were able to catch up on some much needed rest. I hope you all did the same and are starting the week off on a positive note! Friday I had an offsite meeting Friday and we ended a little early, so I took advantage of having some free time and ran into Anthropologie to pick up a gift for a friend. They were having 25% off their sale prices, so I couldn’t resist picking up a sweater that was on sale. It’s seriously the softest thing ever and since it ended up being chillier later this weekend, I already…

Simple Spring Tablescape
Spring is such a beautiful and symbolic season. After the dreary, cold days that seem to linger on and on throughout the winter, I look forward to the warmer weather and blooming foliage with excitement. We used to have a HUGE Bradford Pear tree in our front yard, and as soon as I saw the buds popping up I knew spring was on its way. Unfortunately, last fall a huge storm caused our Bradford Pear to split right down the middle (apparently this is common with these trees – they grow straight up and get too top heavy to support themselves, causing them to split and ultimately die…who knew?!). I…

Weekend Recap – April 9th
Happy Monday, friends! I definitely am needing an extra cup of coffee this morning after several nights of not so stellar sleep from our little munchkin. Our weekend was pretty low key which means I didn’t end up with a lot of pictures, but it was a fun one because of a special visitor! Friday Blake’s sister, Ali, came into town on Friday afternoon and it was so fun catching up with her! She is currently living in Charleston and was able to drive up Friday during the day so she was home when I got back from work. Having family around for Luke is so important to us, so…
