Luke’s 10 Month Update
Whew – it’s been a while since I’ve posted here! This season of life has been so busy, crazy, and fun, but with working full time and trying to spend every other minute possible with Luke and Blake, the blog has 100% taken a backseat. And I needed the break – writing here is definitely a release for me, but choosing quality time with Blake or extra zzz’s has been what I needed to focus on when I did have any free time after Luke was asleep. All that to say…I’m back with an update post on Luke! I feel like SO much has happened in the past two months…

Luke’s 8 Month Update
Hi friends! Today’s post is all about Luke and what he’s been up to over the past two months. The last (and first!) update I did was when he was six months and SO much has happened in those two short months! I swear he’s gotten so much bigger and has learned so many new things. I’ll plan on doing update posts about every two months (both for me to document this time in our lives as well as to share any tips or products we’ve come across!). I’m sure I’ll say this every time…but this stage is so fun!! *Note – this post contains affiliate links. These affiliate links…

Luke’s Birth Story – Part Two
Today I’m sharing Part Two of Luke’s Birth Story…if you missed Part One, you can catch it here! Once we made it to the hospital, it was about 8:00am. Blake made sure I was checked in and settled in my Labor & Delivery room before going to move the car. Luke’s Birth Story – Part One
I initially debated posting Luke’s birth story, but when I was pregnant I scoured the internet reading as many as I could to “prepare” myself for what was to come (as if that was possible – ha!). What I eventually discovered was that no two birth stories are the same but that each one is special and beautiful. I love reading about everyone’s experiences, and I wanted to write this down to be able to remember it in the future. Just a warning…it’s long and very wordy 🙂 So with that being said…here is Part One of Luke’s Birth Story: Once I hit 37 weeks…I was OVER being pregnant. While…

Weekend Recap – Charleston, SC
Happy Monday! We’re back home after a three day weekend full of traveling and family time – we drove to Charleston, SC to watch Blake’s sister, Ali, graduate from College of Charleston! This morning was a bit of a struggle to get the day going, but after a cup of coffee and a hot shower, I’m excited to take on the week. Friday Friday morning we woke up and started our day as we normally would, and packed up the car in between feeding Luke and grabbing his last minute essentials. We hit the road right before his first nap and it worked perfectly – as soon as we pulled…
