Easy Weeknight Meal – Parchment Paper Salmon
Today’s post about parchment paper salmon is one of my favorite meals to quickly throw together. But even better…it doubles as a fun dinner party idea as well! There are an endless number of topping combinations so you can mix and match for larger groups or pare down to your favorites for an easy, fool-proof dinner during the week. And bonus – the clean up is super fast since everything bakes on one pan! This time around, I picked up spinach, asparagus, lemons, grape tomatoes, capers, yellow squash, onions, and mushrooms. You could pick anything you wanted to add in – in the past we’ve added corn, olives, fresh dill…the…

Weekend Update – April 16th
Happy Monday, friends! We had such a nice weekend and were able to catch up on some much needed rest. I hope you all did the same and are starting the week off on a positive note! Friday I had an offsite meeting Friday and we ended a little early, so I took advantage of having some free time and ran into Anthropologie to pick up a gift for a friend. They were having 25% off their sale prices, so I couldn’t resist picking up a sweater that was on sale. It’s seriously the softest thing ever and since it ended up being chillier later this weekend, I already…

Favorite Bathing Suits Under $100 (+ 9 Amazing Coverups Under $20!)
It’s still chilly here in Georgia, but everyone is posting pictures from Spring Break or commenting about upcoming beach trips and I’m craving warmer weather!! While I definitely prefer Spring (more flowers, less sweating), something about the nights and weekends in the Summer seem almost magical. The evenings stay lighter longer, which means more dinners on the back deck. We grill out more often, go to more outdoor concerts, hit up the pool, and look forward to weekends at the lake with friends. I love any location or activity that involves water – the lake, the pool, or the beach. But ever since having a baby this past December and…

Simple Spring Tablescape
Spring is such a beautiful and symbolic season. After the dreary, cold days that seem to linger on and on throughout the winter, I look forward to the warmer weather and blooming foliage with excitement. We used to have a HUGE Bradford Pear tree in our front yard, and as soon as I saw the buds popping up I knew spring was on its way. Unfortunately, last fall a huge storm caused our Bradford Pear to split right down the middle (apparently this is common with these trees – they grow straight up and get too top heavy to support themselves, causing them to split and ultimately die…who knew?!). I…

Weekend Recap – April 9th
Happy Monday, friends! I definitely am needing an extra cup of coffee this morning after several nights of not so stellar sleep from our little munchkin. Our weekend was pretty low key which means I didn’t end up with a lot of pictures, but it was a fun one because of a special visitor! Friday Blake’s sister, Ali, came into town on Friday afternoon and it was so fun catching up with her! She is currently living in Charleston and was able to drive up Friday during the day so she was home when I got back from work. Having family around for Luke is so important to us, so…
